What impact will it have on our power bill by switching to energy efficient windows?

Beginning in 1992, with help from ENERGY STAR®, American families and businesses were able to save $297 billion on utility bills and prevented more than 2.1 billion metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions by 2013. How much will my replacement door or replacement windows project cost?

Our windows and doors are specifically designed and custom-made for your home, meaning no two projects are the same. Our large variety of products make it nearly impossible to discuss pricing without first considering your wants and needs and the project results you envision. Due to this nature, we find it helpful to send out a Pella sales representative who can give you a quoted project price after seeing the project site itself. To speed up the process, your Pella® sales representative is armed with a computer and a portable printer so that they can provide you with all the quote information you’ll need—just as soon as the sales representative has a chance to consider the requirements of the job and matches them with your vision.

In addition to offering a large range of first-rate products to select from, we also have a generous offering of payment and finance options. Pella is uniquely-suited to offer you excellent window and door products at affordable prices, giving you a chance to make the renovations you want to while building great value into your Baton Rouge area home all the while.

What should I use to clean my glass windows?

We advise that you should use a prepackaged vinegar-based cleaning solution or use an ammonia free glass cleaner such as Windex or Sparkle. Or you can make your own with one part vinegar to ten parts water. Apply the solution to a soft, clean microfiber cloth or paper towel. Do not use glass cleaners that are ammonia- or alcohol-based as they have a tendency to form streaks or create a film that attracts moisture and dust.

Do Pella® employees actually install your replacement windows and doors?

Pella uses dependable installers who are certified to install Pella doors and windows. They are required to complete a rigid set of training courses so that your windows and doors are properly installed and meet Pella’s strict warranty guidelines. We find the best Baton Rouge-local people and recruit them to install our projects. Before we hire anyone, Pella requires them to pass a drug test and background check. Our installers are are insured by liability and workers compensation insurance. Your local Pella branch provides services and support that “big box” stores can’t match. Our specialty is selling, installing, and servicing Pella Windows & Doors. Having a dedicated Pella sales team, project manager, local service technicians, and expert installers means that your project will have the knowledge of our whole team.
